After settling their bills, Terri, Jesse and Nell walked out into the beautiful Sunday morning.
Already some of the campers and trailers were heading out past the Lodge. Depending on
how far a drive the women had to get here determined the departure time. The departing
women waved from their vehicles, some were smiling, some were grim, preparing to re-enter
the work and family worlds.

Jesse grabbed Nell's arm before she got in her golf cart, " Nell, ya have a minute.... I need
talk to you?"

“Sure, Darlin'. What's on your mind?" Nell said as she waved goodbye to a passing trailer of
sister's heading home.

“It’s about Lindy." Jess started.

“You know, you could have gone all day and not mentioned that name and I would have
considered it a good day." Nell shook her head "What's up now?”

“This is just a heads up for you. Looks like CarlyAnn is the latest notch on her belt.” Jesse
informed Nell.

Nell just groaned. “Just please tell me that child was of age.”

“Turned eighteen two weeks ago." Jesse affirmed. “Lou had it out with Lindy this morning,
bright and early. Lou cooled the situation down by dousing Lindy and her bed with some cold
water. So I imagine right about now she is headed to the laundry mat.”

“Now I am kinda sorry I went to all that trouble of putting a waterproof mattress topper on
her bed. Would’ve done her good to sleep in a cold wet bed for a couple of days." Nell mused.

Nell sighed as she put the key into the ignition of the cart. “Looks like Lindy and I need to
have a little heart to heart.”

“Do you want me and Terri to go along?" Jess asked as she slid onto the passenger seat of
the Mule that was parked beside Nell's cart. Terri climbed in the Mule's driver's side.

“No! In case there is bloodshed I don't want any witnesses, that way you can testify truthfully
that you have no idea what transpired. Besides, you look like you need to go get yourself
some rest." Nell said as she backed her cart out and headed down the hill toward the closest
shower/laundry house by Lindy's trailer.

“I don't think she should confront her by herself," Jess said as turned toward Terri.

Terri mulled the situation over and then looked at Jesse. "I'm gonna take you home, then I will
swing by and check on those two. Besides, Nell's gonna need help if she's gonna dump the
body." Terri quipped. Jesse punched her partner's shoulder lightly at the dark humor.

Nell walked into the laundry room and sure enough, Lindy was stretched out on a padded
bench waiting for sheets and blankets to finish in the dryer. Lindy had on dark shades and
was lying so still that Nell thought she might have been asleep. But when she moved closer,
Lindy pushed her shades down on her nose and peered over them.

“Now you have interrupted my daydream with Angelina Jolie."  Lindy pouted.

Nell shook her head. She hopped up on top of an empty washer and looked over at the figure
sprawled out on the bench. “I’ll be sure to send my condolences to Angelina" Nell quickly
retorted.

“Just like to spoil my party huh, Nellie." Lindy spat with contempt as she pushed the shades
back up to block Nell out.

“You know Lindy," Nell began in a very slow and measured voice “you have a good gig here.
Steady work for the season. The option to do other gigs if they arise. Kim gave you an open-
ended contract…… A very generous one."

“So wadda you want Nell," Lindy swung herself into a sitting position and pushed the shades
onto the top of her head. “Blood!”

Nell contemplated that thought for the barest of moments, and then shook her head.
“The offer is tempting, but I don't believe you have any; it would require a heart." Nell's soft
southern drawl dripped sweetly.

Lindy got up quickly and headed to the dryer that had just signaled it ended and slapped
another couple of coins in the slot before it could stop its cycle. The singer stood before Nell,
her hands were clenched by her side. The stance only bemused Nell even more. It was that
of a defiant child in a Thirty-something body.

“Sit your ass down, Lindy. You don't scare me. I am not intimidated by any of your so-called
threatening postures. You know as well as I do that if push came to shove, I could kick your
ass and then some." Nell all but laughed in Lindy's face.

“Let’s see if this gets your attention." Lindy suddenly put her hand's one both sides of Nell’s
face and kissed her. Nell pushed Lindy back and slapped her across the face. Nell hopped
down off the dryer. “How fuckin dare you!" she spat out as she wiped her mouth. Lindy
responded with a lighting quick backhand that just barely clipped Nell on the chin. It was then
that Terri walked in and pulled Lindy back and jacked her up against the laundry wall. “Who in
the fuck do you think you are?" Terri growled. "Nell, you ok?"

Nell rubbed her chin "Let her go Terri, that lil piece of white trash is not worth the time." But
Terri was not done. “If you
ever touch her again, I will tear you apart." Terri shoved Lindy up
the wall a little harder. “Understood!"

“Fuck you!" Lindy spit in Terri's face. “She has always wanted me to do that." Lindy smiled
toward Nell.

“Lindy, what is sad is that you truly think that...." Nell said as she put a restraining hand on
Terri's shoulder. Terri loosen her grip and eased Lindy down off the wall and finally let her go.
Lindy shrugged her shoulders and adjusted her shirt and walked away, but not before she
tried to sucker punch Terri. In a flash, Terri's right cross set the singer on her ass. Lindy
scrambled up on her feet and lunged at Terri again. This time Nell stepped between the two
of them. “Enough!" Nell turned to Lindy, “Don’t be fuckin' stupid Lindy, Terri will take you down
and wipe the floor up with your ass!"

Lindy wiped the blood from her busted lip. “Is that the best you can do
Bitch?" She taunted
Terri.

“No, " Terri laughed. “This is!" and she jabbed a well-aimed punch and connected with the
sweet spot on Lindy's chin and the singer went down and was out cold.

Terri looked up innocently at Nell and sighed as she shook her injured right hand, “Ok....
where do you want to dump the body....?"
