When Petey and Taylor made it back to the waiting area they both were bursting with news. Terri had nearly paced a path in the carpeted area. Taylor had two bags, one with fresh coffee and the other some food. She nodded to Terri and Petey to join her at the sofa and spread out the contents for them to share. A container of salad with chunks of chicken and tuna and some fresh fruit were in one bag and some good coffee and the fixings in the other sack. Taylor had packed extra plastic containers and divided the food for the three of them. Terri shook her head when Taylor passed a container of salad. “Terri….you have to eat. You are not going to be able to help Jesse if you don’t take care of yourself also.” Taylor admonished. Terri knew better than to try to fight Taylor on a food issue, she was the undisputed expert. So, reluctantly she took the container and plastic fork and began picking at the salad. Remarkably, it tasted pretty good. Petey ate thoughtfully, like Terri; she had forgotten how hungry she was. Leave it to Taylor to take ordinary buffet salad and make it a feast. “I had a very interesting tour of this facility.” Petey smiled as she lifted her coffee cup to take a drink. “You didn’t happen to find us a way to break in that unit did you?” Terri asked eagerly. “No….the place is locked up tighter than Fort Knox. But I did get some information on the shrink. It seems that she has pissed off at least three quarters of the hospital staff here. There is not a department that doesn’t have someone that has some kind of personal axe to grind about her. It seems that she has a knack for pissing people off. Unfortunately, the ones that she has pissed off are not in a position to buck her.” Petey reported. “Seems you and I have been talking to the same people. That is pretty much the same story I got everywhere I went. There is a lot of bad blood between the Therapist and the employees she has treated here at the hospital.” Taylor added thoughtfully. “I have something for you.” Petey pulled out her cell phone and pulled up a picture on it and handed the phone to Terri. Terri looked at Jesse in a room sitting on a mattress staring at a mural on a wall. Terri’ s hand shook as she looked at the image. Terri looked up at Petey in wonder. “How did you get this?” Terri asked in utter amazement. “I couldn’t risk any of the staff taking the picture...I didn’t want anyone getting into trouble. But through some connections that I made, I was granted entrance into the surveillance room where they have the close circuit video that is trained on that room. I had one small opportunity to take that pic while the tech on duty took a break. But I wanted you to see that Jesse was ok…for now.” Petey sighed. “Petey…thank you…” Terri stammered as she looked at the phone’s screen. “No thanks necessary boss, trust me it was an interesting mission.” Petey sat back on the sofa. “I bet not as in..ter.resting as mine…” Taylor smiled slyly. “Don’t tell me….” Petey rolled her eyes upward. “Awww….you know you want to know the details…” Taylor teased. “Well…if she don’t I sure do…we need a distraction and something to while away the time till the Doctor gets here…” Terri encouraged. And that was all that Taylor needed as she leaned forward and began her journey on the first floor….all while Petey shook her head in amazement at her best friend’s prowess. ******************************************************************************************* When Nell had finally made it back to the camper, she was beat. Kimmy took one look at her and patted the sofa. Nell gratefully stretched out and put her feet in Kimmy’s lap. Without a word, Kimmy stripped off Nell's sneakers and socks and began a foot massage on Nell’s tired and aching feet. “God….that feels so good….” Nell moaned in pure pleasure. “This is just the beginning….Dr. Feelgood is in the house tonight for your pleasure….” Kimmy said confidently as her hands started stroking Nell’s calf.
