By the time that Petey, Rachel and Dory entered the lodge, the party was already in full
swing. It was crowed, loud and full of life. Just a typical night at the Lodge. Petey led the way
to a small table, not too far from the bar. The three of them had just sat down when this little
tiny brunette flew over and plopped herself on Petey’s lap.

“Petey, when you gonna make an honest women of me?” the perky gal asked as she lovingly
stroked Petey’s blond hair.

“ Whoa there Wendy gurl,” Petey pulled back from the tight embrace. “ You know I don’t
want to be another notch on your girlfriend “Biker Barb’s” belt. Hell she’d splay me out right if
she thought I was messing with you!” Petey laughed with a gleam in her eye.

“ Dammit Petey, why do you have to worry bout her? We could slip away and she would
never know it?” Wendy purred.

“ Ahh…little one, trust me she would now it, and she would send her Rottie Sheba to track
my skinny lil ass down and gnaw on my bones until she caught up with me and pulled out that
damn buck knife of her’s. Now…..I see Terri over there keeping and eye on you, you might
want to think about getting back to work.” Petey winked at the petite little waitress and gave
her a loving pat on her behind as she got up off her lap.

Wendy turned her attention to Petey’s companions and began in earnest, “ Hi, my name is
Wendy, and I will be your waitress for this evening. What can I get you ladies from the bar?”
She rattled off breathlessly.

Dory rolled her eyes and looked bored  “ I’ll take a Margatini, that’s if you serve something
other than beer here” she all but sneered.

Rachel looked up at the young waitress and smiled and asked politely for a house draft. Dory
just shook her head at Rachel’s order. “ I guess she’s joining the status quo here!” Dory
snapped.

Petey kept her eye on Dory and started to give her order, but before she could even get the
words out, Wendy kissed her on the mouth and skipped away, “ Don’t worry Petey, I know
what you want!” she giggled as she made her way to the bar to place the order.

As soon as Wendy was out of earshot, Dory looked over to Petey and asked in a nonchalant
manner. “ So would you
do her if there wasn’t a Biker Barb in the picture?” she tried to smile
but the grin came out evil.

“Dory!” Rachel began to protest.

But Petey held up her hand and leaned over the table so that she was exactly eye level with
Dory. “ I
don’t do kids like Wendy or Bitch Brats like you.” she smiled a genuine, almost
loving smile. “I have standards.”

Dory reared up and was getting ready to fling back something when Wendy arrived in the nick
of time with their drink order. Dory grabbed her drink and gulped about half of it down before
the other drinks had even hit the surface of the table. No matter what, for some reason, she
just could not get at Petey. And she knew she could just about get to anyone. But in Dory’s
mind, well it was Game On! She shot Petey a look that she hoped conveyed that very intent,
but Petey just smiled that beautifully open  smile of hers and  popped the top off her Sky
Blue. She raised it in the air and clinked the edge of Rachel’s glass and winked. “Welcome to
Labinky Park Lodge.”

Terri kept a watchful eye on the crowd. It was her nature to be protective
and to circumvent potential problems that large crowds tend to generate. When
she spied Dory heading to the stage, her interest was instantly piqued. Terri's
gut instinct let her know that shit would soon be hitting the fan.

Lindy was singing her last song of her first set. The crowd was responding
just the way she liked. The dance floor was full of bodies grinding to her rocking
beat. She had given the high sign to Kim that this was the last song of the set
and she belted out the last line with gusto, knowing that a tall cool one would
soon be soothing her hot parched throat. When the final notes had faded, the
spotlight cut out and left the stage in total darkness. Lindy unstrapped the guitar
and set it in its rack and hopped off stage amid the applause. She headed
straight for the bar, to hell with Nell's fucking rules. She had earned a well
deserved drink of her choice, and water was not on the list.

Lindy had almost reached the bar when a hand grabbed her arm. She
turned and looked down into the dark grey eyes of a smiling brunette. "How bout
I buy you a drink for a dance?" Dory offered the singer.

“Well, I guess it depends on what kind of drink you buy as to whether or not you
get a dance." Lindy shrugged noncommittally.

“What kind of drink do you want?" Dory smiled wickedly.

"Rum and Coke. Then little girlie, I will dance your legs off." Lindy laughed.

Lindy watched while the girl sauntered up to the bar and placed the drink
order and paid. A little on the wild side, but definitely a looker. This could
definitely be an interesting night. She took the drink that Dory handed to her and
raised it in a silent toast. God, it hit her parched throat like rain on the desert.
She took the cool glass and ran it across her sweaty forehead, down the side
of her face and back to her lips for another sip. Then she slipped her arm around
Dory's shoulders and guided her to a nearby vacant table where she deposited
her now empty glass. The sound system was playing a Terri Clark CD and she
was belting out "Poor Poor Pitiful Me!" and without a word, Lindy slid her hands
down Dory's side and pulled her close. “So let's dance," she breathed into
Dory's ear.

Terri laughed appropriately at the conversation around her, but her
attention was on Lindy and Dory doing a bush to bush grind on the dance floor.
Nell leaned over and nudged Terri's arm and nodded toward the two women on
the dance floor. "Isn't that Rachel's partner bumping with Lindy?”

"Yepper.”

"Now why do I smell trouble brewing?" Nell lamented.

"Well, you know Lindy better than anyone here. Trouble is like a second skin to
her. Tends to shed it at will…. like a snake.  If you get my drift." Terri casually
observed.

"Got it." Nell arched her eyebrow knowingly.

"Well I gotta a feeling that the show has just started.” Terri predicted as she
lifted her drink.

"OK, you two," Jesse interrupted. "When ya gonna ask me to dance?" she
whined forlornly.

"Ahhh, now stop yer whining.” Terri admonished playfully. "Besides, you know I
only like the slow ones" she leered lustily at Jesse.

Angry voices and the sound of breaking glass got the attention of
everyone at the table. Terri hopped up and headed toward the sound, with Jesse
close on her heels. The crowd parted like the red sea, and the little waitress
Wendy was standing in front of a very tall, very well-muscled woman dressed in
black leather biker gear. A tray of broken beer bottles littered the floor between
them. Terri carefully stepped in between the two women, kicking the broken glass
away with her boots.

“Barb, what the hell is goin' on here?” She looked up to the Amazon in front of
her.

“I caught her flirtin' again, " the towering woman complained in a deep throaty
voice. “I don't mind her workin’ here Terri. You know that. But I don't abide no
flirty behavior, and she promised she would behave herself. Well she ain't
behaving."

Terri looked over at Wendy and back up to Barb, all the while trying to
keep a straight face and not laugh out right. Wendy scrambled to try to clean up
the mess on the floor, her face bright red from embarrassment.

“Now Barb," Terri began in a reasonable toned voice” I don't tolerate dikey
drama's in here. What you two do in the privacy of your own little camper is
between the two of you. Now it is our policy that the wait staff be courteous and
friendly to our guests. And I can assure you that little Wendy there is doing only
that. She is being the bright and friendly little gal that we all love. Nothing more.
Terri reached up and tried to awkwardly pat Barb on the shoulder, "You are just
being over protective, which is why Wendy loves you so, ya goober." Terri
punched the rock hard arm muscle and tried not to wince as she shook her
hand.

“I’ll just be keepin’ my eye on her Terri," Barb nodded solemnly.

"You know what Barb?” Terri narrowed her eyes, “I gotta a better idea on
what you keep your eye on. I am down one bouncer at the door. How bout you
help me out by keepin the peace so to speak. “Terri guided the woman toward
the entrance door. "Wendy will bring you whatever you want to drink on the
house, we'll discuss a salary tomorrow in my office."

Jesse watched in amazement as Terri handled the difficult situation so
smoothly. The crowd lost interest in the subdued situation and began talking,
laughing and dancing. The broken glass had all been cleared away by the time
Terri walked back to the bar. Wendy came over to where the Jesse and Terri
stood. “Sometimes she thinks that I get carried away. She wouldn't hurt a fly.
She just looks like she could tear someone limb from limb." Wendy smiled wryly.
Barb wants to keep me safe is all?”

“Good idea on the bouncer thing, babe" Jesse complimented Terri.

"Yeah, well most people here don't know that she is florist. In that outfit she
looks more like the poster child for hell's angels than a flower child." Terri
laughed.

Rachel watched as Dory swayed seductively with the stranger on the
dance floor. It was a show and Rachel knew that it was intended for her eyes. At
another time and in another place it might have given her a rise. Caused the
green-eyed paranoia to grab hold of her sensibilities. Tonight, though as she
watched the two of them there was only a sense of sadness that twinged deep
within her. After a few moments she turned her attention from the dance floor
and looked at her companion across the table.

Petey smiled and raised her blue bottle  and took a sip. The
smile was infectious and Rachel smiled in return.

“Would you like to dance?" Petey held out her hand and stood up. Rachel
shook her head and almost declined, but stood up and grabbed the hand Petey
offered. They walked out onto the dance floor to the song “Now that I found
You”.

Dory watched Petey and Rachel out of the corner of her eye as the two
joined the throng on the dance floor. The subversive surveillance was not lost on
Lindy, who began to nibble on Dory's neck as her hands seductively caressed
the young girl's body. Dory felt her body begin to respond to the sensual touch
of Lindy's practiced hands. A fire started deep within her as flames of desire
were stroked by the musician's soft lips against her neck.

Dory closed her eyes and followed Lindy's body with her own. For a
moment, she forgot that this was a game and she let go of her inhibitions and
reserve. Lindy's eyes smiled with smugness as she felt Dory respond to her
touch. Lindy knew instinctively what kind of game was being played by the girl in
her arms. What Dory didn't know was that Lindy was a master at seduction and
playing games is what she thrived on.

When Lindy felt Dory's body melt into her own, she abruptly stepped
back, leaving Dory to struggle to regain her balance. The redhead ruefully
shrugged her shoulders. "Time for my next set," she smiled and left Dory to walk
back up on stage.

Lindy picked up the guitar and stepped up to the mike. She softly
strummed for a few minutes and Dory watched her every move. Looking out on
the crowd Lindy belted out her next song.

Baby, can you feel it
The desire running wild
Wakin’ the woman child
Can you feel me?
Do you want me?
As much as I want you
Baby, do you want to
Take this ride with me.

Kim did a double take at the song choice and scratched her head in
confusion as she looked at the play list in front of her. This selection was not on
the list that Lindy had given her for tonight. Unsure as to how to run the lighting,
she kept the spotlight on the singer and hoped for the best. Nell joined her in the
control booth and gave Kim a hug and a White Russian.

“Baby, you must've read my mind." she laughed and kissed Nell gratefully.

" Honey ya just looked so thirsty working them controls, twistin them knobs. I
thought to myself, I betcha Kimmy is ready for a real drink. So I just brought my
hard working baby girl a creamy White Russian.”

" Honey, ummm that Russian is not the only thang that is creamy" Kim peered
over the rim of her eye glasses and winked suggestively.

“Ah...my baby gettin all hot and bothered back her in this cramped little booth"
Nell laughed as she slipped her hand under Kim's shirt.

"Nell, are you startin’ sumpin’ that I am gonna have to finish?" Kim inquired as
she peered over the rims of her glasses.

"Trust me, baby, I've got your controls” Nell teased as she gently tweaked Kim’s
nipple.

"You know this is not helpin’ me to concentrate on the sound board," Kim sighed
as she made some adjustments on the panel in front of her. "Especially since
this song was not one that she rehearsed earlier.”

"I didn't think I had heard it before,” Nell mused. "The crowd seems to like it
though, kinda raw and edgy," she observed.

"What was all that commotion by the bar earlier?" Kim asked as she watched
Lindy perform.

“Just a little dike drama. Little Wendy and big ole Barb were airing out some
domestic issues" Nell shrugged. "Terri took care of the situation with her usual
diplomacy." Nell explained. "The only casualties were a tray of beer bottles,
bless their poor souls." She lamented.

“Were they full or empties?" Kim inquired.

“Probably half and half, " Nell answered as she slipped her other hand under
Kim's shirt. Kim's eyes grew wide at the bold move and almost lost control of the
panel she had her hands on. Lucky for her, Lindy was almost finished her song.
Nell gave Kim a kiss and pulled her hands from under her shirt. She patted Kim's
face and turned to leave. “Keep that in mind for later," she smiled and left the
booth.
