“Nell......" Terri huffed as she heaved the semi-conscious body of Lindy up the deck steps and into the singer's trailer. "I can un….der.....stand...." she grunted with each step that she carried Lindy fireman style into the living quarters and dumped her on the built in couch. " why you wanted me to bring her back here. But for the life of me....." Terri stopped to catch her breath. “Why in the fuck did you have to fold her laundry and make the bed?" Nell just looked at Terri and shrugged her shoulders as she finished putting the clean and freshly dried sheets and spread on the bed. Then she joined Terri and looked down at Lindy who was feigning unconsciousness. “How long to you figure she's been out?" Nell asked. “I timed it, a little over 3 minutes. I checked her vitals, her pupils were not fixed or dilated, no broken bones, respirations were good so I didn’t have to give her mouth-to- mouth….but she is gonna have a helluva bruise on her chin where I popped her and her ass where she hit the floor “ Terri reported with just a hint of a grin. “She should be coming around anytime now." Terri sighed. “Do you think I will have to hit her again?" “No. I don't want you to hurt your hand. Jesse would never forgive me." Nell quipped. “Just depends on how much my fingers would swell," Terri laughed wickedly. It was then that the crumpled body on the couch began to moan and move. “Oh shit! It's still alive." Terri lamented sadly. Lindy shook her head and tried to get her bearings. Her chin felt like Mack truck had hit it. She gingerly pulled herself into a sitting position on the couch. When her eyes could finally focus, she could see Terri and Nell leaning against the sink counter. Lindy put her head in her hands and waited for whatever else was going to happen, to happen. All the attitude had been temporarily knocked out of her. " Nice of you to join the land of the living again." Nell began. Lindy winced as the words reverberated like a pinball within her head. " So..... do you have your bitch on a leash now?" Lindy sneered as she looked toward Terri. Terri started to step toward the couch, but Nell gently restrained her and Terri just shook her head. " Nell, please......I promise…..I promise to clean up the mess!" Terri implored as Nell pulled her back to the counter. " Here is the deal. It's real simple. I don't care what you do with anyone, you wanna fuck a doorknob....go for it. I am drawing the line at anyone 18 years old or younger. Simple. End of Story. I will have you arrested and press charges. If you can't live with that stipulation. Consider your contract cancelled." Nell got to the point very quickly. " Nell, what the fuck is the problem? Someone has to break these babies in." Lindy tried to spin it in her favor. " Nell.......Pleeezzzeeee" Terri all but begged. But Nell just shook her head. Instead she went and stood in front of Lindy and waited until the singer looked up at her. " Lindy....don't think for a minute that Kim is gonna bale you outta this one. I know you two have history. I know you've fucked." Nell narrowed her eyes. "But just because she has fucked you, does not mean that she loves you in any sense of the word. It was just a fuck! So if you think that is your ace in the hole.....don’t forget for a minute, I have the whole deck. That means your contract for this year, any future bookings we have with you, and I will blackball you as an artist anywhere else you decide to go." Nell carefully laid it all out for Lindy in terms she would understand. Nell waited while all this information absorbed into Lindy's head. When Nell mentioned Kim, for a moment Lindy's eyes had lit up, until she realized that Nell knew about their liaison. Then that short flash of hopefulness faded into the harsh reality that Lindy was dealing with Nell on Nell's terms. And there would be no compromising on the age of her pickups. But then she rallied quickly when she realized that she still had the over 18 lesbian park residents to choose from. So all was not lost, she would just be forgoing' the cherries. Hard choices, but earning a living over getting some underage booty was a no-brainer. Sad. But still a no-brainer. Lindy sighed and looked down at the floor. "You win." she said simply. "Now get out so I can get my head back together." Nell nodded at Terri and they both headed for the door. "Terri, you may have gotten me this time, but next time.....you gonna be the one hitting the floor." Lindy smirked evilly. Nell pushed Terri on out of the door before she could turn and respond to veiled threat. " Someone is gonna get hurt." Terri predicted as she walked down the deck's steps. Although she did not voice it out loud, Nell shared that same uneasy feeling.
